The request was to create a logo and identity design that is very clearly identified in the aviation sector, as the business purpose is to provide professional advice in the aeronautic sector and specifically the area is that of maintenance for aircraft and components.
Logo idea
In this logo design is offered in three distinct variants and provides the possibility of different alternatives. The design of the graphic symbol is made up by multiple shapes that can be identified as the different services and sectors (maintenance, quality control, documentation, compliance, training) that characterize the various services of the business. The shapes that make up the symbol derive from the negative space of a silhouette of a custom-made airplane.
A silhouette’s airplane is completed by the near VierAviat’s V so the remaining empty space creates the missing right wing of the plane. I wanted a circular shape of the graphic symbol to convey a 360 ° preparation and experience of the consultancy service, of the different sectors related to aviation, and an ability to act globally and a clear reference to the sky. A compact version of the logo with the symbol and the VA initials of the brand is also provided.
