The primary objective was a professional logo creation for Adriana Cristina Mattei (AcM Translation), a linguist providing high-level interpreting and translation services. Her expertise covers technical fields—such as legal, business, and chemistry—as well as the publishing industry, with a strong focus on literary translation. Following the initial logo creation, the project expanded into a comprehensive brand identity, including professional business card design and a bespoke, high-performance responsive website.
Logo Concept
First of all, symbol elegantly integrates the translator’s initials within a strategic logo creation framework inspired by the publishing world. The icon features a stylized book from which the initials seem to emerge, symbolizing profound academic preparation and creative vitality. The word “Translation” is nestled within the book’s silhouette, acting as its title.
To respect the client’s request for visual hierarchy, the letter “C” was subtly integrated into the monogram, giving primary prominence to the “A” and “M”. This logo creation uses a refined serif typeface to bridge the gap between classical literary tradition and contemporary professional reliability.
Color Palette & Symbolism
A deep “Wine Red” (PANTONE 7622C) was selected to convey maturity, technical competence, and authority. A secondary version of this logo creation was also developed to include the translator’s specific working languages, ensuring clarity for international clients.
