Client design request
The client asked me to create a hi-tech company logo design. Their products introduce domotics in the rhythm of everyday life of families and businesses, to satisfy the exigency of comfort, safety, thrift and self-reliance. This system is an innovative idea: install home automation solutions on existing systems, without making any change to the building.
Final logo design
This company logo design represents several meanings, some of them are very recognizable as the initials “W” and “D”.
Other interpretations require more complexity. Such as the stylization of a building, evoked by the “D” spilled over “W”. The initials letter also constitutes another architectural feature of the building: a stylized door. The game of these two graphical shapes gives a stylistic synergy between “W” and “D” in relation to the concepts of connection, linking and integration as to the connection between the wireless hardware and home automation. “W” (wireless) surrounds the building “D”, but without touching it.

LOGO DESIGN (PROPOSAL B)

This company logo design proposal has a bold and upper-case font to convey more strength to the image and at the same time to relate it with the character of the graphic icon.
This latest represents different meanings. Of course, the “W” refers to WIDOM, and to the concept of integration between different modules, which are represented by the triangles that form the “W”. Here there is also a reference to the waves, though not in the manner of the usual representation of wireless. The logo evokes elegance, solidity, and can be easily connected to home automation.

This logo is the name Widom, which acts as a graphical icon. The font was created from scratch and is completely unique. The shapes recall simplicity, elegance, immediacy, cleanness and they stand out. This full element inserted in the “o” refers to the wireless, in a different way from the normal symbol that generally identifies it. The “o” can be also used as a symbol by itself, which calls for the brand.
